Beta Club Celebrates Success at State Convention

The Gretna High School Beta Club traveled to Hampton, Virginia last week for their annual State Convention.
Congratulations to the following students:
1st Place - Digital Art Division I - Tori Lucas
1st Place - Fiber Arts Division II - Keeley Smith
2nd Place - Club Trading Pin
3rd place - Onsite Cake Decorating Division II - A’livia Alexander
3rd place - Agriscience 9th Grade - Kinsley Wertz
Olivia Franklin won a $500 State Scholarship
Olivia Franklin also won a $1000 National Scholarship and placed in the top 100 out of 4900 applicants. This makes her eligible for phase two of the National Scholarship where she could win one of 11 top scholarships ranging from $2500 to $20,000.
And congratulations to the newly elected 2026-2027 Virginia State Secretary, Dixie Owen!
